UBC Prayer Updates for January 25, 2024
Get Well
Addition
Trudy Casey will be going in for knee surgery January 29.
Vanessa Schubert On Tuesday, January 30th, Vanessa will be having surgery to repair an umbilical hernia. (Sue’s niece)
Landon is a 1 year grandson of Irene’s cousins on the reservation; he was rushed to the hospital with a severe case of RSV. We don’t have his last name. (Cahoons)
Frances Cox Frances broke two of her toes on Thursday. She was advised by the emergency room doctor to have them casted as soon as possible, but – so far – the earliest appointment available is for next Wednesday. Pray that Frances can obtain an expedited appointment to see an orthopedist as soon as possible.
Updates
Pastor Olsen has a skin tear that refuses to stop bleeding. His ER doctor today tried a different type of treatment and bandaging. Pray the bleeding stops. Recovery from aneurysm surgery is going well.
Don Lepczyk Don and Sue will be meeting with Infinity Hospice on Friday to discuss their services for at-home care.
Randy Frick Surgery is next – the Whipple procedure will be used to remove the tumor. Date to be determined.
Spiritual and Other Needs
Sunna Miller My sister did not get any of the positions so she is still looking for a job. Thank you for the prayers. (Daria)
Jerry Cahoon Sr still has the kidney stone but he is feeling fine. He will see the doctor this week to see what course of action to take. His head has healed from his fall and no more brain bleed issues.
Angel Hervis Angel is recuperating well and actually looks really good. He is still paralyzed on his right side. He still can’t speak but he is doing well. He is able to eat and feed himself with his left hand. (Brian’s father)
Deletion
Corey Halley Answered prayers! Power/water have been restored and they are all feeling better. After missing a week, Amy and the kids returned to school on Tuesday. Thank you for praying for my son’s family. (Sherry B)
Evangelism
Child Haven last Saturday had innumerable answers to prayer. Thanks so much, Prayer Warriors.
Jamie spoke with Russ Donaldson, the Religious Coordinator at the Adult Detention Center. He would love to have some of our gospel booklets. Irene Cahoon delivered 200 English, 40 Spanish and 20 Tagalog booklets on Thursday. I told him he can request more whenever needed.
Jamie also called Tyra Mitchell at Shade Tree and left her a message about resuming Bible Time classes for the children. Hopefully she'll call me back. |
