Chris Edgar Great news! After a 10-hour surgery, the surgeon was able to remove the entire tumor. It was one of the largest sacrum cordoma’s he has removed. He was able to protect the major spinal nerves. Some of the nerves have been irritated by moving them around, so bowel and bladder function will take time. He removed a smaller amount of the glute muscle than he thought he would have to. Reconstruction surgery went well. Chris didn't lose a lot of blood and held up well during the entire surgery. Now he will have a major 4-week recovery in the hospital, but we know God is in control of that too. Thank you so much for all your prayers!
Don Lepczyk Thank you for your prayers for Don to gain weight. He was given medication for appetite stimulation, and it is working! He's slowly gaining weight. His first chemo is Tuesday. Again, thank you!
Jim Tierney The wounds on my dad's feet are showing some improvement. They are still keeping an eye on the small wound that has the bone exposed, but the antibiotics seem to be working.
Natalia Hervis Natalia had the problem-tooth extracted and abscess drained. The doctor determined her other front teeth were healthy and did not need extracting at this time.
David Olsen (Pastor’s brother) Dave is still receiving treatments on his foot, but the healing is VERY slow. Still confined to a wheelchair.
Greg Mordin Prostate surgery Monday, Oct. 30.
Evangelism
Child Haven Saturday morning, Nov. 4th, we will have a class for the little ones. Pray that God would prepare the children and staff that will be there, and for no distractions during the lesson and gospel presentation.
