Promotion

Kaye Kirshner has been called home to Heaven and is now face to face with her Lord Jesus Christ.  Thank you for all your prayers as she battled cancer and cleared many hurdles over the past several years.  (Ken Sessions' sister)

Get Well

Additions

James and Twilene Kruse  James was to have a scope inserted into an artery in his heart to determine the blockage level; however, insurance has denied this procedure.    He was told insurance would look at it again and reevaluate. Once he gets the scope done, they can determine what kind of surgery he will need. Twilene has a bulging disk issue that is causing occasional paralysis on her left arm.    It comes and goes.  She is now not allowed to drive.  Her doctor is dealing with it via physical therapy. (Believer cousin/wife of Jerry C.)

Barry Mainardi Believer retired US Army Captain & retired law enforcement officer chaplain is in the hospital. (Marty R.)

Updates

Mike Lepczyk Don's brother, who has a spot on his lung, lymph gland, and hip, has been waiting for three weeks for a biopsy appointment at SDMI. He was just told by SDMI they can't do this until September 21st. Please pray that Michael's oncologist can get something scheduled as soon as possible. 

Spiritual and Other Needs

Jen Forden's memorial service will be this weekend in Tucson.  Gospel will be given. (Tim and Daria)

James Kruse's grandson KK    He is 12 years old and has a less than favorable family life.     I gave him the gospel and a gospel booklet, and he seemed positive.  Pray for his salvation and a more stable home life.  (Jerry C)   

John is returning to El Paso, TX after some time spent in Las Vegas.  John recently lost the love of his life, his wife Norma, and has an estranged relationship with his 20+ year-old son.  Please pray gospel witnesses will be directed to his path to share the gospel and for safe travel home.  (Marty  R.)

Evangelism

Freedom Program at the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City on Saturday, August 19th from 9:30 - 10:30 am.  Team members who will be participating:  Al, Corinna, Daria, Gary, Jerry, Irene, Su-z, Grecia and Jamie.
