UBC Prayer Updates for May 11, 2023
Get Well
Additions
Michael Lepczyk (Don's brother) A spot was found on his lung six months ago and after a recent recheck, the spot has grown a bit. He is waiting for a referral to see an oncologist. Please pray he can see a doctor soon and for an accurate diagnosis.
Olena Lake Olena is the wife of one of my old military buddies. She is a Ukrainian citizen. My friend Robert Lake spends a lot of time working with the Ukraine military and underground operations against Russia. This last trip Olena insisted on traveling to Ukraine. I don't know how the injury occurred, but her arm was destroyed in some kind of attack. She is recovering in the US and has several surgeries planned. While Robert is a believer, she is most likely not. (Jerry Cahoon)
Updates
Natalia Hervis needs to see an endocrinologist. Her Tacro is now in pill form; however, it has presented some new side effects that she has not experienced before. It can cause issues with blood sugar and early puberty. Pray she can get an appointment to see that doctor and get these issues resolved. (Hervis/Cahoon)
Linda Shimkus is still in cardiac intensive after her heart valve replacement and a patch for a tear in her heart wall. She has developed another complication as she has pneumonia that has slowed her recovery. Please continue prayers for a positive outcome. (Ken Sessions)
Kaye Kirschner is having complications related to stage 4 breast cancer. Her pain level has significantly increased and she is scheduled for a PET scan on Thursday. Please continue prayers for a positive outcome. (Ken Sessions)
