Get Well

Addition

Steve Abbott   Steve has several serious health problems.  He is currently in an Acute Rehab facility and is receiving excellent care.  His health problems include congestive heart failure, Stage 3 kidney disease, A-fib (with pacemaker), and neuropathy.  Pray his wife can communicate effectively with the doctors and make the best decisions for Steve and the best course of treatment/action from here on.  (Cliff's uncle).

Updates

Cortney Sponheim has improved enough to return to work but still has not recovered 100% from COVID. Please continue to pray for her. (Al and Sherry).

Jim Tierney Jim's feet are healing.  This is the main thing, to get these wounds healed so he can start walking more and build his strength.  His hip is 100% healed.  He will be seeing doctors in the next 2 weeks about the GI tract test with the mini camera and the circulation in his lower legs and feet.  (Jamie).

Jen Forden Jenn is trying a new chemo. Please continue prayers for her salvation. (Tim and Daria).

Linda Shimkus had her surgery on Monday and the defective valve was replaced successfully. While doing the surgery they found a tear in the heart wall and put a patch on it. She is currently in the cardiac intensive care unit under sedation and will slowly be removed from the sedation as she recovers.  Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for her recovery. Sunna Miller She will be hearing from the construction company to remodel her bathroom so she can use the shower. Yay!  She is very happy too that her back has not given her any more pain. Yay!  She thanks God and you for prayers answered! (Daria's sis).

Emily Cahoon I received the results from the biopsy done on my face and it's just a bad case of rosacea! The doctor had me start another treatment today that will specifically target the inflammation on my face. I will follow up in six weeks. (Shelby and Jerry's sis...hahaha).

Spiritual and Other Needs

Liscum Family We have been asked to foster three children ages 3 yrs, 4yrs & 6 yrs old - Landon, Emma and Ryder. Their mom Nikki was a foster daughter of ours 14 years ago. We could all use your prayers. We are navigating the licensing process as well. (Sherrie Liscum).

Evangelism

Child Haven Pray for a new assistant activities director that will replace Naomi whose last day will be May 12th. She will be moving to another position in the department. She has been fantastic, so positive to God, the Word of God and bringing children to our class to hear the gospel.  She said she will be in touch with Renetta, the activities director, and would like to drop by if we are able to schedule classes in August.  I sent them both a copy of our VBS flyer so they can share the information with families that they think would be interested. VBS Scheduled for June 5-9.  Sign is out front.  Pray for parents to call and register their children.
