Law Enforcement

Tony DeTavis He has taken a different position within state police and will now be serving with aircraft, specifically on helicopters as a tactical field officer. Prayers for him and his team's safety would be greatly appreciated. Several helicopter officers were killed earlier this year within state police. (Sammie Builder)

Grecia Nieznanski I have been diagnosed with a rare form of scoliosis, levoscoliosis. It is where the spine curves to the left, instead of the right. My hips are turning to the left, causing balance problems. When the levoscoliosis gets to the severe stage, which is where I am at, it can be very serious, because it can affect the function of my major organs, especially the heart, since it is on the left. I will be meeting with my doctor on Monday. In the past, surgery was considered too dangerous, given all the other spine issues. Please pray for guidance and wisdom as options are discussed. 

Jayme She is 45 and has a tumor on her uterus. The doctor wants to treat it as if it is cancer, including doing a hysterectomy. They are in the process of scheduling more tests and subsequent surgery.  (Sherry B.)

Updates

Mark Vandernagel He has seen his Dr and found out that the medicine he is taking is for his immune system. It has been changed as of yesterday. He is also going to see a neurologist for his disease. Please pray he gets the right doctor and that they will only give him medicine that will help. (Daria)

Corinna Jones She has hurt her neck; we have an appointment Wednesday so hopefully the doctor can recommend a plan of attack. Thank you very much and to God's Power. (Chris)

Linda Russett She has decided to forgo back surgery, but instead is exercising and using topical pain patches.  She is confident this is the right decision and thanks us for our prayers for God's guidance.

Carol Rainey She continues to recover from lung cancer surgery. If there is a change in her prognosis, I will put her back on. (Grecia)

We are confirmed for this Saturday, the 19th for elementary students...and any other young people who would like to attend. 

Renetta also scheduled us for Saturday, Dec 17th from 9 - 11:00 am, arriving at 8:30 am to present the Christmas Story to pre-schoolers.
